Power the Fight

Launched in 2019 by Ben Lindsay, Power the Fight is an award-winning charity based in London, UK which tackles violence affecting young people. They create long-term solutions for sustainable change and act as a link between the community and policymakers -empowering communities to end youth violence. 54:2 Foundation funded operational capacity over four years early in its development, to enable Power the Fight to expand its impact.

“I’m thankful for the strategic foresight, trust and sipport 54:2 Foundation has given Power The Fight. 54:2 were the first people to fund PTF and for this I will be forever grateful. They saw what we wanted to achieve and strategically funded us in a way that helped us to grow rapidly.”

Orchards

Orchards’ vision is to see women free from sexual exploitation. A Christian charity working specifically with women who have been involved in prostitution and those who have been trafficked for sexual purposes. They come alongside women as they overcome multiple barriers in their journey from exit through to independent living. 54:2 Foundation provides support for Orchard’s financial model, as part of a strategic review to multiply the Charity’s impact over a 3-year period.

“At Orchards we have been delighted to partner with 54:2. Beyond simply a funding partnership, we have really valued the reflective space and coaching support which has helpful us immensely with organisational capacity building in a way that has been really tailored to our mission and ethos and current needs”
